Welcome to Database of Magnetotactic Bacteria (DMTB)!
DMTB is developed by Biogeomagnetism Group in Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. DMTB is a comprehensive database which includes all or nearlly all 16S rRNA gene sequences, corresponding ecological metadata,
oligonucleotides and magnetic properties of magnetotactic bacteria (short introduction). Our purpose is to provide an easy and fast access to various information on magnetotactic bacteria. We hope that accumulation of such information in one public database will facilitate multi-disciplinary researches on magnetotactic bacteria.
